About Us
Seashore Technology Solutions LLC was originally founded in 2004 as Music 'N Arts Exploration (MAE), Inc. and specialized in event planning. It was a part-time endeavor. After running several successful music education conferences our focus turned to technology. In 2006 MAE was renamed Doing His Work, Inc. and in 2010 was reorganized and named Seashore Technology Solutions LLC.
Company founder and owner, Susan Penrose, has a BA in Music and spent 22 years on Wall Street pursuing a career in information technology. The daughter of a corporate accountant dad and a stay-at-home mom, she began her corporate career as programmer trainee (before the invention of the PC). She worked in a number of Wall Street banks and brokerage houses and eventually achieved the role as a vice president and senior project manager for a major bank in New York City. She was layed off shortly after the 9/11 disaster when the division she worked for was sold to another bank. After a period of time spent care-giving for her parents, she faced re-entering the workforce. Susan decided to turn her focus to the non-profit organizations. She quickly recognized the need for affordable technology solutions and support in these types of organizations and strives to provide exactly that.
In 2011, as the need for IT support in healthcare became apparent, Susan completed courses in the implementation and maintenance of electronic health record systems and is currently employed in a medical practice with offices in Monmouth and Ocean Counties, NJ as their Director of IT.
"A sense of God's leading has been evident through the twists and turns of my life and career. I may have not always been tuned in and paying attention but it is clear that God was and continues to be the one with the master project plan.
My life mission is to believe, demonstrate and accomplish God's calling for my life and to inspire others to succeed. My vocational vision is to use my gifts, skills and talents to help people understand and better manage the resources God has entrusted to them so that His kingdom and the people in it prosper."
